This policy explains what data the game Terra Concordia and the website ncbgames.com/terraconcordia process, why, and what your rights are. It follows Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law No. 13,709/2018) and the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Summary: we, NCB Games Studio, do not collect personal data. The game stores your progress on your computer and in Steam Cloud, and the website uses no cookies or visitor analytics tools.
1. Who is responsible
NCB Games Studio, developer and publisher of Terra Concordia. Contact for any privacy matter: terraconcordia@ncbgames.com.
2. Data in the game
- Progress saved on your computer: saved games, achievements, player profiles (the names you type), Hall of Fame, album, collection and options. These files stay in the game's folder on your computer and are not sent to us.
- Steam Cloud: if Steam Cloud is enabled on your account, Steam copies these same files to Valve's servers so you can continue on another computer or on Steam Deck. This service is provided by Valve and is governed by the Valve Privacy Policy.
- Achievements and leaderboards: these are recorded on your Steam account by Steam itself.
- Multiplayer over Steam: lobbies, invitations and the connection between players go through the Steam network. The other players in the lobby see your Steam name. We do not receive or store this data.
- Local network multiplayer: computers on the same network exchange their local address and the name chosen for playing. Nothing leaves your network.
- Error log: the game writes a technical log file (
Player.log) on your computer only. It only reaches us if you send it to us yourself, for example when asking for support. - No analytics and no ads: the game has no usage analytics, tracking, advertising or in-game purchases.
3. Data on this website
- No cookies and no analytics: the website does not use cookies, has no visitor analytics tools and shows no ads. The only thing the website stores in your browser is the language you chose, so it opens in that language next time; this data never leaves your device.
- Hosting: as with any website, the hosting provider's server (HostGator) may log technical access data, such as your IP address and browser, for security and operational purposes. These logs are the hosting provider's responsibility and are not used by us to identify visitors.
- YouTube videos: the videos use YouTube's cookie-free (privacy-enhanced) mode and only load after you click to watch. From that click on, the Google Privacy Policy applies.
- Links to other websites: Steam, YouTube, X and Bluesky have their own privacy policies.
- Fonts and files: all of the website's fonts, images and documents are hosted on the website itself. No external service is contacted without your action.
4. Contact by email
If you write to us (terraconcordia@ncbgames.com or suporte@ncbgames.com), we use your address and your message only to reply. We keep the conversation for as long as needed to resolve your request and do not share it with anyone.
5. Children
We do not knowingly collect data from children. The game is sold through Steam, which has its own rules on age and family accounts.
6. Your rights
Under the LGPD and the GDPR, you may request confirmation that we process your data, access to it, its correction, deletion and portability, and information about sharing, and you may withdraw your consent where it is the basis for processing. Since we do not keep players' personal data, these requests usually concern only emails you have sent us. Write to terraconcordia@ncbgames.com and we will reply within 15 days. You can also lodge a complaint with the Brazilian Data Protection Authority (ANPD) or with the authority in your country.
Your game files are on your computer: to erase them, delete the game's saves folder (its location is in the Read Me) and, if you use the cloud, turn off Steam Cloud for the game.
7. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with the date it was updated. Important changes will also be announced in the game's news on Steam.
